Hey there, just stopped by to thank you very much for adding me to your watch list, it is kindly appreciated :).

I see that you're new to deviantArt... well I wish you a very warm welcome and I hope you enjoy your stay.

Glad to see your gallery is growing steadily as you've already submitted some deviations; so keep it up! ;)

Hi Elena,

Thank you for your lovely warm welcome.
I'm going to have to let you in to a little secret though, this is actually Dan - =samurai23 . I started up a new profile to post up some of the songs I've written over the years for the various bands I've been in.
I wanted to keep it seperate from my photography, but as a fellow wordsmith I thought you might like to take a look & tell me what you think. Not as good as your stuff obviously :) but there's a few bits & pieces that I still like.

HA!!! I thought I recognized the preview pictures of your lyrics hehe! I didn't have the chance to properly read them though, but you got me even more interested right now ;) so I'll take a look and tell you what I think. Definitely!

Glad you made this step!

Yeah, it's something I'd been thinking about for a while, but it's been much tougher to work up the courage to put them up.
I guess they're more personal to me, closer to my soul, even though I did write them to be sung to lots of people. Somehow, having people looking at them without music to screen them is more scary! :)

Unfortunately, I'm cursed with an appaling singing voice, so I just play bass.
Luckily, my best friend, Ian, has an instictive feel for how I want my songs to be sung, so he's sung with me in most of the bands I've been in oer the years. :)

I can imagine so! And I definitely know the feeling of working up the courage to put your writing up. I still feel anxiety about ALL the poems in my gallery, but at the same time I don't mind leaving them up.
It's strange in a way, you'll get used to it though (that is, if you really want them up!).
Do you sing or do you play? Or both?
